Kenworth - K260 & K360

When your business requires the most dependable pick up and delivery vehicle, take a look at the K260 Class 6 and K360 Class 7 cabovers from Kenworth.

From the front bumper to the back of the cab the K260 is only 63.2 inches. This provides plenty of room for a large van body and the 55 degree wheel cut will not compromise on maneuverability. The Kenworth K260 and K360 are available with either an air suspension or mechanical in wheelbases of 189 and 210 inches. The air suspension can be lowered or lifted from inside the cab or by use of the remote control module from outside of the cab. A time saving for drivers with one less need to get into the cab during deliveries.

The cab easily accommodates three people in its spacious 92.5 inch width. The driver air-suspended seat and the two-person bench seat is separated by the transmission shift lever and parking brake, within easy reach. The driver has a master display information module on the dash which provides information on fuel consumption, service inspections, oil level, trip information, time, fault codes and even an alarm clock.

For easy backing into docks at the correct height in your cabover, two pre-set heights are available. Both cabovers are for companies in many applications, especially for those that need excellent maneuverability to make tight maneuvers in city conditions.

The Kenworth K260 Class 6 cabover offers the latest in world-class styling, durability, maneuverability, ease of service, and technology. The K260 also gives companies another Kenworth product choice for the growing Class 6 market where non-CDL drivers are used.

Both the K260 Class 6 and the K360 Class 7 are based on the DAF LF55, which has received European Truck of the Year honors. European customers cite that model's high-volume payloads through its low chassis weight and clear back of cab as among major reasons for its success.

The Kenworth K360 Class 7 and K260 Class 6 cabover models joins Kenworth's latest lineup of medium-duty trucks which features the T370 Class 7 and T270 Class 6 conventional models (both also available in a diesel-electric hybrid configuration starting in 2008) and the T170 Class 5 conventional.

Everything on a Mack from the cab design to the frame to the components to the engine is designed to help you squeeze more money out of every mile.

Here’s to a long, long life.

Mack trucks are as long-lasting as they are indestructible, through million miles over 25 years. Provide unmatched productivity over the course of its many, many years of service.

Pushing the electronics envelope.

Mack is the only truck OEM that integrates both vehicle and engine electronics in a system called Vehicle Management and Control or V-MAC® for short. V-MAC lets fleet managers set hundreds of operating parameters to help keep their trucks more efficient and profitable. Also setting big screen in-dash driver displays, DataMax™ trip recorder and InfoMax™ software to manage your truck and optimize performance.

The cab’s greatest strength is…well… its strength.

The cab rests on an innovative new mounting system — two cushions of air and two shock absorbers minimize vibration and reduce driver fatigue. A back-of-cab cross member is Huck® bolted to the chassis for better durability and integrity.

Improving a driver’s workplace.

Granite keeps drivers happy with a spacious cab and an ergonomic dashboard. A multidirectional steering column, big cushioned seats and a soft touch steering wheel all give drivers a level of comfort previously unseen in vocational vehicles.
